1979 SC Sport 3.0 (S)

1979 SC Sport, 101,000 miles from new with full and comprehensive service history, service book and massive history file.Nick Moss and Early911 should take a lot of credit for this car. Basically it came as a rolling shell when the previous owner tired of the expense of this kind of project, ran out of space and decided to sell. I bought this basically as an excercise to learn how a 911 goes together.

Nowadays this kind of non original car would be frowned apon and worth no more, possibly less than the original SC. Generally because of the expense it would be uneconomic because the cost of restoration and conversion is higher than the value. The SC engine gave a nice power delivery.

Currently owned by a local friend who drove it straight to Ireland and did 5000 miles in the first year, which was testament to the practical nature of a backdate, when done properly.
